Fries are so amazing, burgers are so juicy , and the red Mountain Dew is the best night recommend.

As soon as you pull up the server is running out to get your order (literally) running to your car. The burgers are amazing and the only reason I give 4 is my experience with the fries. I didn't like them too much that one time it was like they were refried and I had to give them back and got another burger instead. But overall the Dixie is pretty good and service is great!

A must try iconic old school drive-in restaurant located in Lumberton, NC. A family run establishment featuring great What-a-burgers, foot long dogs, and their trademark French fries! The hamburger steak is great too! Service is fast and friendly. Just drive up, put your vehicle in park, flash your headlights, roll your window down, and your server will come to you. Menu is posted on the corners of the building. The locals here have been frequenting "the Dixie" for over 50 years!

Very ole fashion....lol school diner that's been around for a 20 or 30 sum years. Great food all around drive up and someone will walk out and take your order..CASH ONLY..

I grew up eating here often and it's always been the best! The fries are amazing and you won't find any like them in the area. The burgers are a perfect serving size, especially the what-a-burgers! Definitely check this place out!! Staff has always been super friendly too.

This was a treat. The burgers are great. The onion rings are darn good too. Intend to go back and explore some more of the menu. It's drive in only, they ask you not to come inside now. I do wish there was some indication where you should park though.

Authentic greasy good ole American Diner. The go to items are the Whataburger and the Battered French Fries. When you enter the gravel parking lot and see the run down looking building, don't be fooled. Inisde hides good people and great food that satifies the soul. Come in with an open mind and embrace the greasy smells that will make you salivate. Solid establishment for a real non-commercialized burger and fries. CASH ONLY

I cant believe only 10 people reviewed this diner. Actually drive in too. We were blown away by the friendly people here. We saw this on yelp and went out of the way for this dive. The parking lot was riddled with pot holes and inside was kinda old. I think it all added to the nostalgia. As said before the meat is hand made, French fries hand cut, Cole slaw home made. The burger topped some of the best I've ever tasted. Everything was awesome. You just dont see these places just anywhere. I'd go back in a second. Trouble is we are from out if town. Thanks to these wonderful people at this diner.
